My sisters and I got this for Christmas one year and it became our favorite board game. (We played it recently, actually, and it was kinda boring so there must have been some kind of childhood magic in it that made it super exciting. Maybe because this was before I had a real credit card and spending endless supplies of money seemed novel).

The little animatronic voice was was weird through and we thought it was HI-LARIOUS that “Kitchen Store” sounded like “Chichen Store.” To this day we still take ridiculous amounts of delight in saying, “There is a sale in the… chichen store.”
